That whole strip is drop-off range: leave the car, walk back into the neighborhood, collect it later the same day. Saturday runs eight to two and fills quickly.
North of the sandbar the bridges take over. Cross Bay Boulevard carries us to Broad Channel and Howard Beach, and the Nassau Expressway reaches Rosedale, Springfield Gardens and Laurelton. Over the county line we work Inwood, Cedarhurst, Atlantic Beach and Valley Stream, and the van runs west to Breezy Point at the far tip. Anything inside about half an hour of Augustina Avenue is routine, and mobile jobs in the core area cost the same as work done at the shop.
